The carrier does not advertise this, so ask if it is available in your
market:
One landline number can be designated by each subscriber as his/her Most
Often Called (MOC) number. Once Alltel registers it in the system, calls to
this landline number are treated as Mobile-to-Mobile and are handled with no
airtime charge.
The Customer Service person probably will recommend using your home number.
But think carefully! Your most often called number might be your office, a
friend, or a third-party voice mail system. In my case, it is the
centralized appointment center for our real estate market. The point is, it
does not HAVE to be your home number.

Well, now, that would be cool if I can designate my sister in
Charlotte as the MOC. Then it would be not only free long distance
but no airtime either.
