Radio Shack part number 17-318.  Decent quality mag mount antenna for 800
MHz cellular band. 3db whip, strong magnet, and rugged coax (about the size
of RG-58). TNC coax fitting.

If you can find them, the price is two dollars!  Ask your local Radio Shack
store to do a computer search in the district. There are not many left, but
if you still use this equipment and can locate one of these antennas, it is
a very good deal. They really work well.

What will these fit on?
Will they work on a Nokia bag phone or a Nokia handheld?

Any 800 Mhz cellphone that has an external antenna jack, even the
toyphones like V60.  You'll need an adapter for the phone, of course.

My local radio shack stores HAD 27 of them.....(c;

I'll get more from the warehouse Monday morning.......

They are very nice colinear antennas.  Nice LONG coax cable, too!

Thanks to the original poster for the heads-up on them!

Save me a couple, Larry. I'll drive down and pick them up.  Our district
only had one. And yes, I bought it.

Ok, here's the scoop.....

The store cannot search the database to see who has them....because
they've been taken OUT of the inventory and written off.

Find the store attached to your local RADIO SHACK WAREHOUSE.  Ours has
a "surplus store" in the back to unload the damaged crapola in the
crushed boxes.  THAT's where the antennas are, not the stores.  The
stores all sent them back to the warehouse.....(c;

Call 'em Monday morning.....

There's hundreds there, somewhere......for the hamfest?  flea market?
club meeting?....(c;
