Is the merger with Cellular One still in the works? Haven't heard anything
about it in a while. If so when will it be complete?

It's a done deal. The merger happened on August 1. Here is the press

They aren't merging with Cellular One, They are buying Western Wireless and
yes, it is still in the works and will probably finish pretty soon now.
