I haven't been paying attention very well, but was looking for a number I'd
lost but had printed on my Alltel bill, when I noticed that bonus minutes
burn up FIRST, EVEN THOUGH THEY OCCUR DURING UNLIMITED N/W OFPP hours.....

So, if you use all or most of your minutes every month during DAY or
EVENING primetime per-minute rate times, DON'T make any pleasure calls
after 9PM until you have used up your bonus minutes at the beginning of the
month or Alltel will screw you out of ANYtime minutes when they should be
charging you OFPP...saving your ANY minutes for use when it's expensive.

ANY minutes don't burn up if you call M2M on the first day of the billing
cycle....Why do they burn up during OFPP free N/W at the beginning of the
billing cycle?

Just another quiet corporate screw job, same as everyone else.....

I waited listening to the Alltel radio commercials, one after the other,
until a humanoid answered the phone on 611, just now.  After my expert
explanation, he saw what the problem was and put me on hold, probably to
laugh or take a crap but austensibly to talk to someone higher up.  When
he came back he confirmed what I posted......

The first try at covering up what I noticed was him telling me I might
have made a long distance call....or been out of my plan area...neither
of which was true, of course, so that didn't work...(sigh)

If you call anyone after 9PM BEFORE you've used up your anytime bonus
minutes are used up every month, ANYTIME MINUTES are eaten away until
they are gone before your Unlimited N/W free time is charged for the off
peak call time.  It eats up all your bonus minutes FIRST, to make sure
you're eating more of your plan minutes up ASAP every month.

I think it SUCKS, Alltel.....SUCKS.....but, I'll plan my time usage to
minimize it....(c;

Why are all cellular companies so sleazy like this??
.....just follow the money......
