I've changed my mind again. Why does a cellphone that has the same power
output as a V60 toyphone only run 7-8 hours off a huge gelcell and draw so
much power just sitting there? The damned thing runs dead with very little
warning....halfway through a day of very little onair use.
I'm gonna test it up in the country, today. It's going back to Alltel
tomorrow for refund. Too many deficiencies, too little power to have a
great speakerphone that's so rugged. Sorry, Moto, it doesn't make the
grade.....

It draws 400 milliamps, .4A to transmit 1/4 watt? How stupid.

This 1/4 watt phone works a little better than my pocket 1/4 watt phone in
the boonies, on its rubber duck antenna.
But, not that much better to make it worth toting around and putting up
with its very short battery life, mounted display you have to lift the
whole phone in front of your face to read and use, a handset that does NOT
automatically answer calls when you pick it up and hang up the call when
you put it back in its cradle.
Bye bye, Moto...(snif) This beast sucks.

Took the phone back and informed the sales staff of its glaring
deficiencies. No problem, whatsoever, getting my old V60i back on the
system, a full refund and cancellation of the 2-year contract. It was
almost too easy....
