Moto E815 beeps the connection complete.

Simplest way is to take the phone and Palm to the Alltel office
and hand it to one of the geeks and let them do it....(c;

To answer your question, you need to buy Alltel's $25/month data
interconnect.  Call 611 and buy it.

Ok, now you have internet without paying by the second off your
airtime....now the pairing tricks.

The E815 paired and autoconnected DUN the first try.  The ROKR
just sat there and ignored the call......BUT, here's my stumble!

I still had the N800 paired to the ROKR, and both BT transceivers
still on.  I still had the N800 connectivity set to automatically
pair with the ROKR at bootup.  No connections, the ROKR ignored
the calls.

Fooling around with the file manager of the N800 tablet, I
wondered if I could get file manager connected over the bluetooth
with the ROKR's 2GB microSD I had robbed out of my Sansa MP3
player.  The file manager had an item for EXTERNAL drive.  I
clicked it.  It had a line for Bluetooth.  I clicked it.  
Bluetooth folder had the phone on it!  I clicked it.

THE PHONE ANSWERED THE FTP PROFILE CALL!...

The phone's uSD card opened its structure and I could move files
back and forth between the ROKR and N800 easy.  The phone was
just another drive to the N800.

It took me a little while to notice the cellphone icon on the
N800's home screen indicating IT WAS CONNECTED TO THE NET!

During the FTP paring the ROKR answered....it had also answered
the heretofore ignored DUN connection call!

WE WERE BACK ON THE NET!

Since connecting via BT FTP, ROKR has answered every DUN call
from the N800 tablet booting up...really fast!  Streaming videos
from Orb on my home system is PERFECT via Realvideo.  Streaming
BBC on the N800's media player also works perfect.  The phone has
not been dropped like the E815 was constantly....all night!

I'm back via BT and one happy camper, again....(c;

.....and I just stumbled upon the answer for no apparent reason
at all.....????

OK, let's open the bluetooth connectivity on your phone, and set
the phone to DISCOVERY mode, making it VISIBLE by broadcasting
Bluetooth's info on the air.  The Moto will do this for only 3
minutes, so don't start it broadcasting until we have your PDA
set to listen.  Make sure Bluetooth is ON on both the phone and
PDA.

Now, open the PDA's Bluetooth connectivity and start a new
pairing window searching for BT broadcasts.  At this point it
should see the phone and put it on the list of devices it can
see.  Highlight the phone and tell it to pair with it, from the
PDA, not the phone.  My new ROKR pops up a window warning me an
N800 is trying to pair with it and asking what I want to do.  I
agreed by clicking YES on the phone.  The phone then popped up
another window saying the N800 wanted to connect via DUN (Dial UP
Networking) and connect through the phone to the internet.  Would
I allow it?  I answered APPROVED.  The bluetooth pairing was
complete.

Your pairing should work similarly.  At this point, the phone
should be able to manually or automatically DUN connect to the
internet.  Some BT devices like laptops ask what number to call.  
The number is #777 if it asks you to connect to the net on
Alltel.  The Nokia never asked.  I don't know what it fed it.

Hope this helps you out.  If it won't connect, try to connect
your file manager on the PDA to the memory on the phone via FTP.  
It should be automatic on the PDA to look for the phone over FTP.  
If you get to it, open it and connect via FTP.  Copy a file just
to test the link.  That's what got my ROKR's attention and got it
to let the N800 tablet have access to DUN....(c;

Don't ask me why...I just know it worked here....
