Hope the coverage up in Austin is better then SA. It's kind of flakey down
here. Lots of dropped calls and weak cells.

I'm in San Antonio and frequently go to Austin and have had few if any
problems with AT&T's GSM coverage in North Austin or San Antonio. I
get more dropped calls on my SprintPCS service than I do on AT&T
Wireless.

I don't know about North Austin but I live in EXTREEM South East Travis
County...way out in the country...and have both GSM/GPRS and TDMH with ATT
Wireless. The quality of the GSM/GPRS service is the ONLY reason I stay
with ATT Wireless at all. The TDMA drops calls if I just turn my head the
wrong direction while on a call. I have used the GSM/GPRS from Bastrop
through North Central Austin (51st and Lamar area) with no problems at
all...inside buildings and outside.
