I got a great deal on a MPx200 when I ported over from SPCS.
The phone is indispensible. I'm a college student, so having the phone sync
directly with outlook is a huge advantage. While the interface may not be
as easy as some of the palm/phone hybrids, I'm a huge fan of the flip
design. The phone is very solidly built and looks great with the in-body
antenna.
The other feature that really attracted to me was the ability to use SD
cards with the phone. This vastly expands the capacity and flexibility of
the unit. As I have a SD-compatible camera, mp3 player, and a notebook that
has a built-in SD slot...the compatibility was a huge bonus. I find myself
using the stand-alone mp3 player less and less as its much more efficient to
just hook up my headphones (using a $15 adaptor) to the phone and using the
included software to run mp3s off the SD card.
The last feature, and one that you should look into in your area, is the
fact that this is a GSM phone. This is an advantage in some markets. I
travel abroad often (my parents live overseas), so being able to unlock the
phone and swap in another SIM card is just another convenience. With that
said, I spend most of my time in Philadelphia, where I get very good
coverage. Keep in mind, there are also some markets where ATTWS hasn't
fully developed their GSM coverage, so choosing the phone may actually be a
disadvantage.
Hope this helps,

Great phone -
BUT beware if you travel -- this is a 1800/1900 MHz phone only. It will
only work in the Major areas covered by ATT. It will not roam onto Cingular
or others on 850. Major drawback for me...
Amazing Mot would do that...

One thing I noticed about the phone is that it's not a touch screen. So, I
can't use a stylus to jot down some quick notes. I had the Siemens SX56
PDA. That phone was great. But, I like this phone because it's a flip and
smaller and has more colors (65,000). But does it support apps like EXCEL,
or Word like SX56 did?

I like the hardware, I wish is had come with MS SmartPhone 2003 rather than
2002, a big limitation for my use. Also, ATT has coverage problems, however
ATT tech support told me to power it off then reboot when I'm in an area
that has bad coverage and that seemed to help.

Feel bad for the people who bought the 1800/1900 version.
