GSM in San Diego

I am considering migrating from TDMA to GSM and would like any feedback on
GSM coverage in the San Diego area. I live in ElCajon, so information about
that area would be helpful. TIA Mac

AT&T GSM in San Diego is absolutely awful -- unusable very weak signals
all over town, many dropped calls even on I5 or I15.  Cing/TMO is pretty
good nearly continuous coverage so if you really want a GSM go with them
instead (BTW, SPCS and VZW both have much better coverage in S.D.)
