I just switched from T-Mobile to ATTWS (I live in San Francisco and
T-Mobile's coverage (i.e., Cingular) in my neighborhood, while
purported to be "great" on T-Mobile's coverage maps, was awful).
Anyway, so I just switched from a T-Mobile Sony Ericsson T610 to a
ATTWS Sony Ericsson T616 because I wanted the benefit of the 850
spectrum. Well, I just synced my contacts to the phone and am
disapointed to see that the default command for this phone when I
point the joystick up or down from the main menu is mMode and not a
list of my contacts. Does anyone know a way to change these defaults
so a list of my contacts come up when I point the joystick up or down?

Thanks!

Not sure about how to change the function on the joystich but on mine down
brings up the contacts, up brings up mMode.
