What's up with the ATTWS stores in my area of LA? One of the stores has only 1 or 2 phones available for live demo, and the other phones are static display with decals in their screens. You leave out real phones, they get beat up and damaged by the Bart Simpsons of the world, If you're trying to save money, (if you're an AT&T Manager and want to be retained by Cingular, you demoinstrate your value by cutting costs) you don't put out phones that laster you can't sell. > > What's up with the ATTWS stores in my area of LA? That has nothing to do with it. The company guideline is one live phone on display per phone model. They are in some stores but others, like in my area where theft is not a big problem, they are not. The really cool phones are only display phones, and if you want to see a real one, they have one behind the counter you can ask for. I went to a Cingular store, and everything was behind glass. They didn't even have real phones behind the counter for you to play with. Even the rep at that store sucked. Went to a different Cingular store, and it was a different story. |
