The Samsung is a great size, weight, & large crystal clear screen. HOWEVER
there has been a TREMENDOUS return rate in the stores due to poor (often
unusable) reception. Possibly a bad batch as I have never seen so many
problems. No official word put I suspect they may have been pulled for this
reason.

The return rate of the x426 sounds like it has been very high. But based on
readings on the net the microphone problem seems to be WAY MORE of an issue
than reception. I have an x426 and the reception seems fine. I planned on
returning it, however, based on the mic. Someone on the AT&T Customer Forum
discovered that putting a small piece of cotton off of a q-tip into the mic
hole cuts down its sensitivity. That has worked well for me.

Not all have the reception problem, that is why I thought that it may be
limited to a bad batch.
