ATTWS in Los Angeles is offering some great deals.
We have been using Sprint with no problems at all. Is ATTWS any good in Los
Angeles? do the calls get thru? I have heard bad things about them

hang around in a local ATTWS company store and ask folks as they leave
the store.

I have both AT&T GSM and Sprint PCS and I don't have problems with
either one here in West Hollywood. I travel out of town a lot, and
both are good, but I'm usually in major metro areas. In L.A. I use
both services here on the Westside to LAX, in the San Fernando Valley
from Burbank to Woodland Hills with fine results. AT&T GSM seems to
have a few dead spots in and around Silverlake, but otherwise is good
where I go. After the merger with Cingular their coverage should be
excellent everywhere. Can't say about Cingular's customer service,
though.
AT&T Wireless will give you a 30-day trial period. Take 'em for a spin
before cancelling your Sprint service and see for yourself. I love the
SIM cards... just pop one into a new phone, and your phonebook and
everything goes into it also.
