How does this work? (Justalk) Do you get your own exclusive 800
number? If you are out of an area covered by ATT, but covered by a
partner, do you have to dial your own wireless number plus PIN and
then the number you wish to call, as with CallPlus? Can you sign up
with your own TDMA compatible phone? Does Justalk resell only ATT, or
do they deal with other carriers like Tracphone does? Thanks for your
insight.

Lena,
I called JusTalk a few weeks ago. Their computers were 'down', so she had
lots of time to talk. I asked about the process, and it was just like
CallPlus, except JusTalk does not have many local numbers, just in a few
markets. So yes, they give you your own 800 number for incoming calls. No
big deal, I have 4 of them myself.
Yes, it's just like having AT&T OneRate. If you are away from AT&T service,
you will (TDMA) roam on the same carriers a normal AT&T phone would, even on
Verizon analog. Even on the dreaded Commnet Wireless' PCS system! It would
be like a Tracphone but only the AT&T model.
I would assume you can program your home market into the phone so that you
would only need to dial your own number + PIN when out of your home market.
I just may try it when my Callplus minutes run out.
