It was confirmed on this very newsgroup a few days ago.

No roaming in the Home Area??? I thought that was the definition of a home
area! Is this a late April Fools joke?

I have NEVER been charged roaming in my home area. Why would they need a new
plan. Home means just that.

John:
This is for NATIONAL GSM plans. I don't know if this is the same for
TDMA (Which I know charges no roaming on National Network plans).
Shawn: Any idea how many minutes you'll get for $59.99. Is it still
$59.99 plan for 7PM N/W?
