You're not. And obviously not even when buying on the Web.

I love where they say "Only Available on the web" - Free FedEx shipping.
I wasn't aware one would be charged shipping if they went to an AT&TWS
store to buy their phone.
Is what I said in full.

But one might get charged shipping from AT&T Telesales, which is not the
web.

$9.99 add a line at is still available in our market (Cental PA) till
4/30/04. But you must buy in a store.

They have zero credibility. Yesterday the web said it expired 4/17.
Today its on the web again. Why should anyone believe any of these
deadlines?

They do it just to drive you crazy Robert

No they do it cause the marketing doesn't doesn't know what the web
sales department is doing.
But what should you expect from a company **SO BAD** they had to put
themselves up for sale, and sold at 50 cents on the dollar (relative to
IPO price).

I don't know what that's all about. I just changed my plan, and received
1400 anytime minutes, long distance, no free roaming (local plan), etc, for
$39.99. You need to work these sales people. Granted, I've been a customer
for a long time (cellular one in the old days), but they don't want you to
leave regardless. The trick is to keep them on the phone, and ask for stuff
in increments. You'll blow it if you ask for the world up front. Forget
about the "web only" deals...you can't haggle with the computer, and they
know it!

Great, you got a retention plan. But the plans listed on the web, that
most new customers will get, now gives less Anytime minutes.

That's my point here. Don't sign up on the web, call a CSR! You'll never get
the best deals don the web. Spread the word.

Deals given to existant customers vary from deals available to new
customers.
