Is anyone familiar with this phone. If you have the phone, do you like it?

Its been replaced by the 6820, which is why there are promotions to
unload the remaining stock.

That is correct. I got the 6800 free. The 6820 has a built in camera,
which I don't need. Thanks for the reply.

It's OK. We ordered two (for free) with the promotion to add additional
lines for $9.99. The one I got is fine. My son got two duds before we got
one that worked properly. The first one the select keys were
non-functional. The second one was missing the two little screws that hold
the front of the phone to the back. (Apparently they have never heard of
product inspection.) They are nice if you do a lot of text messaging or list
writing, etc. The keyboard is easy to use (if you don't have big fingers).

It's the best phone I've ever owned. Even if I never used the keyboard,
I'd still be delighted with this phone. It sounds just like a regular
home phone and its RF performance is better than any other phone I've
ever used.
Nokia has now introduced a 6820. Don't make the mistake of expecting it
to behave like the 6800. It is a very different phone, especially in
terms of sound quality. I had one for a couple of days, but returned it
and went back to my 6800.

I agree. The 6800 is a great phone. I especially like the speakerphone.
