No. GSM 850 will help you in the Americas, not in Europe. My wife has a
3650 and works in Europe and the Middle East two to three weeks a month.
She has had no problem with the phone. In fact, when a British friend of
hers said hello to me on her phone, he commented on how remarkably good the
signal is.
In the last year, that phone has been used in: England, France, the
Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Slovinia, Italy, Kenya, Tanzania,
Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Hong Kong.
