AT&T charges for all SMSs.  You can purchase a monthly package which
gives you 25 messages for $1.99, 100 messages for $4.99 or 300
messages for $9.99.  After the allowance the cost is $0.10 per
message which is also the cost per message without the packages.
All incoming messages are at no cost to the recipient.  Outgoing
messages will cost more if they are sent via a roaming partner's
network.

If you use the Micro-Browser to access an SMS Gateway, you will pay
for data usage.

Naw Mate, they charge for SMS messages.
