I tried cancelling my AT&T Wireless service today and after two hours
of spending my time and trying to get them to cancel the service
immediately and disconnect two phones, they refused to not only cancel
my service until the next billing cycle (May 18), they also refused to
disconnect the active service, unless I lied and said the phone was
stolen or loss.
I filed a complaint with the FCC and also sent a copy of the complaint
to AT&T wireless. This was a service we have had for years.
Anybody else having this type of problem with AT&T Customer Support.
The support people were of no help and could provide no customer
service other than to read a policy statement.
Anybody else having this type of problem with AT&T Wireless and how
did you get a satisfactory resolution.

Send a copy to Cingular HQ, so they'll appreciate the changes they'll
need to make.
