ATT In Rochester NY

I live in Rochester Ny and i am thinking about switching over to ATT from
Verizon. Dose anyone know how good there coverage is compared to Verizon in
upstate NY? Verizon has been a great phone but there lack of cool phones is
what i dont like.

Don't know why you'd want to go with a carrier that has
"cool" phones as opposed to a company that can offer
service. :^)

VZW has better coverage IMHO in Upstate.

Each his/her own, I guess.

If you want cool phones, then yes, AWS or SPCS would be a good choice.

If you actually wanna use your phone and enjoy great coverage then AWS
is about the worst choice for upstate NY possible. AWS is a new
entrant into the upstate market and their system is very rudimentary
at this point. I would highly recommend you consider staying with VZW
or going to Cingular for any upstate customer.

I am not sure. I think ATTWS has fine coverage in upstate NY since you
can use cingular towers. Just get a phone that enable mannual selection
of networks, you will be doing fine coverage wise.
