How to over write Alert.midi which is used by incoming SMS?

The built-in Alert.midi is played when a SMS is sent to my cell phone. Can
you please tell me how to over write the built-in Alert.midi file and
replace it with a file which I made?

You don't need to overwrite the file (nor can you). Just go to Alerts
and select your chosen file. It doesn't have to be named Alert.
