Currently, there are 5 ways to access Hotmail e-mail:
FROM WAP ENABLED DEVICES:
The mMode 2.0 homedeck can be displayed in WML or xHTML format depending on
the device's browser capability.
The following devices can access Hotmail via the mMode Guide.
a.. LG G4011
b.. Nokia 6200, 6800, 7210, 3595, 3590
c.. Sony Ericsson T62u, T616, T306, T226, T68, T68i
d.. Panasonic GU87
e.. NEC 515
f.. MPx200
g.. Motorola T720 and C333
h.. Siemens S56, M56, SL56, A56, C56, S46
i.. All other devices must use manually enter the address "mobile.msn.com"
from the device. Enter a URL on any device.
1.. Access mMode.
2.. Select mMode Guide.
3.. Select AOL/MSN/Yahoo!.
4.. Select MSN Mobile.
5.. Select MSN Hotmail.
6.. Follow the onscreen prompts to login to the Hotmail or MSN Messenger
account.
7.. A username and password may be required to login.
FROM HTML ENABLED DEVICES:
1.. Open the HTML browser (Internet Explorer, Web Browser Pro, etc.).
2.. Type www.mobile.msn.com on the address bar.
3.. Tap on the Hotmail link.
4.. Log in with the Hotmail User name and Password.
FROM OFFICE ONLINE:
a.. Hotmail accounts can be configured and accessed from Office Online.
FROM THE RIM BLACKBERRY WEB CLIENT:
a.. Hotmail accounts can be configured and accessed from the RIM
BlackBerry Web Client.
FROM A WAP ENABLED RIM BLACKBERRY DEVICE:
1.. This is recommended when users don't have access to a computer with
Internet to log into the Web Client.
2.. POP accounts can be configured in the Web Client while in remote
locations.
3.. Hotmail accounts can be configured and accessed from a WAP enabled RIM
BlackBerry device.
a.. http://mobile.msn.com is not accessible from all mMode enabled devices
due to Markup Language support on the browsers.
b.. Hotmail cannot be accessed from the device based e-mail client of the
wireless devices.
c.. Hotmail cannot be accessed from the mMode personal website because it
is not POP e-mail.
d.. AWS supports the network connection only, any issues with Hotmail
e-mail are to be addressed with Hotmail.
Note: On devices that are capable of true web browsing, such as the Pocket
PC and Palm OS devices we support, customers can access the Hotmail site
(www.hotmail.com) directly in their web browser.
