Anyone familiar with this wireless village item I see being promoted with
some of the new phones coming out on phonescoop? Advantages or
disadvantages?

Also, anyone have any info on how ATT is now with their new gsm service vs.
their TDMA service?

Wireless Village, or IMPS is a way to determine if your contacts are
available or not before you call them, and optionally let you message
them similar to an SMS.

If you want some more information on IMPS/WV there have been some

I never used AT&T TDMA, but liked AT&T GSM in the DC Metro area.
