You don't mention which carriers are there.

However both AT&T and Cingular are rapidly adding GSM to ALL of their sites.

AT&T has already reached the "ALL" milestone and is adding additional channels
at their sites.

Cingular hasn't quite reached the "ALL" milestone yet but they too are rapidly
adding equipment to their sites and I have even been to several recently that
are GSM only sites.
