Activesync will only sync the main folder- no subfolders. It also won't
sync by filter (category.)

The only advice I have is to use the main folder as the mobile sync folder.
In other words, create a subfolder (and call it, for example, "Main
Contacts Folder") that will be where you store the contacts that are in
your main folder now, from now on. Then move the contents of the subfolder
you want to sync with the 8925 to the (now empty) Main folder.
Now get used to this back-assward way of working, because you're stuck with
it! ;-)
You might check out Activesync alternatives- Nokia's Intellisync, for
example, will sync with subfolders or by category- it runs about $ 0, but
IIRC, there's no Vista compatible version yet, so if you upgrade OS, you're
back to syncing main folders only again.

Another option: PocketMirror from
http://www.chapura.com/pmp_wm.php
Looks like it converts the folders to "special" categories and allows
you to filter them during the sync. A bit pricey thou...
