AT&T Wireless data routing issue in San Francisco?

For the past few hours my Motorola V3xx has been able to access WAP on
the built-in browser, but not the rest of the Internet on Google Maps
for Mobile, Opera Mini, Google Mail for Mobile, etc.

traceroute suggests it's some sort of routing problem -- the first two
addresses I'm seeing are the same:
  172.26.248.2
  172.26.248.2
  ...

Is anyone else seeing this issue, or not seeing this issue?  Thanks.

From reports posted to an AT&T Wireless Forum, the problem was
widespread, at least up and down the state of California.

I seem to recall that at one point Mr. Navas was going to start up a
thinkpad newsgroup---  something like:
comp.sys.laptop.thinkpad

What ever happened to this?    My news server doesn't list any such group.
Thanks
Mahl

No, exactly like comp.sys.laptops.thinkpad.

Mine does.

Ask your news server's administrator.

I was looking for it until I found alt.comp.periphs.dildoes......(c;

Noone is using it.  Make a great place for all those flame wars and some
OT fun....(c;

I wonder if they're USB powered or the ones that use a wall wart??
computer control or manual?  Bluetooth control from SELLphone?

The Verizon models would only work if you use Vcast, of course, and pay-
per-view....er, ah, use....

Iphone models would require an iTunes subscription....

Gives "RAID drive" a whole new meaning!....hee hee.

thinkpads are boring............in comparison.

I'll have to look for this.  I have some minor issues with my
(overall very nice) Thinkpad X61S, and Lenovo is not really
set up to help people.

You might have better luck here:

http://forum.thinkpads.com/index.php

You might also try to find newsgroup "ibm.ibmpc.thinkpad"; I think it
used to be an internal IBM newsgroup but it leaked into general USENET
distribution and now has a life of its own.

It was never an internal IBM newsgroup.
It was and is a rogue newsgroup.
