Does any one know when the Windows Mobile 6.1 will be out for the 8525? What
is the difference in the 6.0 and the 6.1? I currently have the 6.0 for my
8525.

I'm not sure it will be, at least officially. HTC (the manufacturer of the
8525) rarely makes upgrades for phones no longer in production, and I've
never seen them release a second OS upgrade for a phone (the 8525 already
received a WM5 -> WM6 upgrade.)

The cookers at xda-developers.com have probably already created a few
unofficial 6.1 ROMs for the 8525.

It's 0.1 louder? ;-)

Seriously, very little, AFAIK. OS-caused memory "leaks" supposedly have
been addressed and IE Mobile has had an iPhone/Opera-Mini-esque zoom
feature added. More of a facelift than a major revision supposedly (but
then again, so was the 5.0 to 6.0 upgrade!)
