Howdy, y'all; my trusty Samsung X426 battery life ain't what it used
to be, and I've dropped the phone a few times (who hasn't?), so it's
time for a new phone. My ATTWS contract expired coupla years ago, but
my service is adequate for my needs, and I'll continue as an AT&T
customer for the time being.
I've seen LG CU500s on eBay for ~$100 recently, so thinking about one
of those. They're sold without SIM cards, but what little that I know
about the technology indicates that I could simply remove the card
from the X426, insert it in the CU500, and "Bob's yer uncle." Correct?
TIA for your expertise.

That's correct as long as the LG is either unlocked or subsidy-locked to
AT&T.
