I have an old Suncom Nokia 5165 phone.  I was wondering if I could
sell this phone for use on the attws network.  When the phone turns
on, it says, Suncom ATT.  Therefore, is it safe to assume that if
someone buys my phone, that they will be able to use it on the ATT
TDMA network.

Thanks

Yes it works.  In California ATTWS, mlife local or prepaid only.  Maybe
other plan restrictions in other markets.  When Suncom says ATWS will
activate it, or im my case it was an EZ Move, it is a half truth.

Yes it will work in any ATTWS TDMA market, however an ESN exception may
be required before another customer can activate on AWs network.
