This article was written to answer the question that I have heard many
people ask - what are the potential uses of the iPhone?

The cell/moble phone industry has changed forever. With the release of
the iPhone in 2007 and its newest incarnation not long released the
potential uses of the iPhone have exploded exponentially!

Enough talk - what are the potential uses of the iPhone?

The Most Relevant and Best Potential Uses of The iPhone

Well as you would expect the iPhone applications include the usual
suspects - MP3 player, movie clip player and camera. And let’s not
forget it also makes telephone calls. However, the potential uses of
the iPhone go much farther!

As we will see below all the current applications available for the
iPhone are instantly downloadable and many can be downloaded for free.
However, the fact that there are applications being developed
constantly makes the potential uses of the iPhone almost limitless and
easily accessible!

Social media is becoming a huge phenomenon on the Internet. So much so
that Apple saw this as one of the potential uses of the iPhone and
therefore developed an application to take advantage of it. You can
easily access the like of Facebook with just as much ease as you would
expect from using a PC.

As with all cell and mobile phones the iPhone offers the ability to
take and view pictures as well as video but the potential uses of the
iPhone as a pocket entertainment system go well beyond the norm!

The iPhone is a full-length movie player that offers exceptional
quality. You can download new release Nintendo games instantly for a
better gaming experience than a standard phone can handle. Overall
these potential uses of the iPhone make it a pocket size entertainment
system without rival!

The software available for the iPhone is growing at such a fast rate
that you can now visit sites that offer free downloads for a once only
fee. Here you can get instant downloads for anything from software,
applications, games, music and video to the latest releases. Sites
that offer software to take advantage of the potential uses of the
iPhone are also growing. However, I would advise one that does not
charge per download but instead either charges a once only or monthly
fee. This is basically due to the fact that the potential uses of the
iPhone are increasing everyday as new applications are released!

Another of the potential uses of the iPhone is for work. For example
you can get massive reference volumes for the iPhone like a
dictionary; it has 10 different variations of the standard calculator
for business and scientific use and for conversions.

The truth of the matter is that the potential uses of the iPhone are
growing everyday. Apple have given the ordinary consumer the ability
to create their own applications for the product and this is something
that companies have taken advantage of. With an ever increasing list
of applications being developed by both Apple and outside firms the
potential uses of the iPhone are almost unlimited! All the potential
uses of the iPhone cannot be mentioned in this post for the simple
reason that Apple have made it possible for anyone to create their own
applications for the device. This special feature is being fully
utilized by software companies to create new and innovative uses for
the phone.

For further information on the potential uses of the iPhone I advise:

The iPhone Geek website which has all the iPhone software available
from applications to movies and games. For a small once-only fee you
get full life-time membership with unlimited downloads and access to
the latest releases.

One thing notably missing form this part of the discussion- due to
somewhat "suspect" battery performance, all of this becomes somethat
moot for someone wanting to be truly mobile- they'll be constantly
tethered to a charger.

Strike two- anybody who have a dictionary and calculator listed as a
major "work" need have much bigger issues to deal with.

Strike three, you're out.  The ordinary consumer is not capable of
coding an application.

Nice to see that the fanboi delusion is alive and well.

But, if you leave the flashlight app running, it makes cool colors in the
booze....well, for a few minutes before the battery goes dead.

10-4, good buddy.

I liked Saturday Night Live's bit on how social networking is overtaking
the porn industry--which led to mixed signals for sit-on-my-facebook.com.
