I currently have a Nokia 8xxx phone and am thinking about upgrading to
a Sony Ericcson phone if it has one feature that I need.

Today I carry a palm pilot to sync my outlook calendar.  Other phones
will let me sync, but none also carry through the "location" field.
Since I am in countless conference rooms across the campus, I need to
not only pick up the field but also have enough characters to get the
full name (the location is the name of the building, then floor, then
room name.)

Does anyone know if the latest generation of phones can sync this
info?
