Does anyone know the land line phone number to #121.
I know it is not (800)555-tell. Thank you
Michael Yermian - 13 Oct 2003 01:47 GMT
Actually it is 1 800 555 TELL. I'm not sure what you mean by saying it
isn't when if you call the number it clearly directs you to #121
(TELL-ME Services).

If you call that number and say "sports" the voice responds by saying "I
am off for the weekend and will be back on Monday". However if you call
#121 and say "sports" you can get what ever score you want. This tells
me that it uses a different number and "tell me".
gj k - 13 Oct 2003 02:21 GMT
Also this problem seems to only apply on the weekends.
Michael Yermian - 14 Oct 2003 03:39 GMT
Maybe they have a deal with ATTWS so that you have to use #121 service
to get the full features. This must be a recent change since my friends
all used to use Tell-Me services (800) 555 - TELL and get sports updates
on the weekends.... hence, the change must be from their system side...
and new...

That's a good thought. You might be right about that. Thanks for the
info.

#121 is actually not accessible from a landline as this is a wireless
service based feature - and billing for usage would be tracked through
the wireless billing system.

Wrong. You can do it via any phone.

Dont put to much faith into Micheles responses, she is a indirect
dealer, ever notice that you only respond to people saying they are
wrong, and then give your half assed OPINION. get over yourself with
that complex, there are doctors who take care of that kind of
stuff..........K

You are wrong. LOL!

If anyone wishes to see how wrong dan allen really is take a look at
this:
1) My username is MICHAEL (not Micheles)
2) I'm a male
3) I am NOT indirect. I >>WAS<< direct. Now I work in another industry
entirely!
4) A google newsgroup search of all your posts will show how utterly
idiotic you are!

Enough of the bickering. The number is 1-866-895-3124. Do not ask where
I got it from, just try it. It is the number.

Good Day

I know of several idiotic "mistakes" by CS reps, too...  Like the many times
they send customers to the local AWS store for "loaner phones" and the like!

#121 is identical to 1-800-555-TELL "Tell Me" service except for one
or two services that you can only access through #121.
