Anyone know how to get the security code from an 8310???
Its a long story about how the security code got changed but now no one
knows what its set to.
It my gfs dads phone, would be out of warranty now, but would a service
centre be kind enough to reset the code if we showed the receipt for free??
:) Its a long shot!
I've tried a few of my little devices in my bag of tricks... but so far none
work....
eg Logomanager with datacable/IR... it doesn't display the code like it used
to on other phone....
Then I tried my magic little unlocking box which does factory resets on
phone and normally gets rid of locks... unfortunately that didn't work...
(must have a newer version firmware).
Is there any other software that I can use with an FBUS/MBUS cable to read
the security code???
In the security settings it has "phone" as the security type.... The phone
works fine with the SIM thats normally been with the phone, but now he wants
to put another sim in there but for every other type of sim it says
"Security Code:"
Is the 8310 a DCT3 or DCT4 phone?
Thanks to anyone that can help!

That issue has nothing to do with warranty.
They either charge a fee or they dont basically.

Kind? Nokia? Hah.
Drop in or ring up a NCC and ask. You're up for around $30 at any half
decent phone shop, dont know how much in a NCC.
