Hi guys,
I'm currently using a Nokia 3330 but the antenna has died (Nokia quoted $180
to repair) so I'm in the market for a new phone.  I'm looking at the Nokia
3200 or the Motorola E365 and this is how I see it:

3200
- FM radio
- 352x288 camera resolution (or is it, Nokia quotes 128x128, same as screen
res?)
- Java support
- 128x128x12bit colour display
- 1MB memory

E365
- 640x480 camera
- Java
- 128x160x16bit display
- not sure how much RAM

My criteria are Java support (I'm Java trained), non-Bluetooth/IR PC
connectivity and a digicam.  FM radio is a nice bonus but not essential.
Also I'm restricted to $35/month or less for the contract.
My questions are: is one of these phones glaringly better than the other or
does either have any common problems, and; is there an alternative (say a
3100 w/ FunCam) that would be a good third choice?

Thanks,

Jason,

I took delivery of an E365 last week and returned it the next day (for
a 6100).

Generally, I found the interface too difficult to use.

Specifically:
Could not turn off the dopey power up/down sounds.
Could not turn on cell info.
When setting up call diversions, could not select number from phone
book.
No ascending ring tone volume.

Now others may chime in here and describe how to achieve the above,
but I could not do so after a day of poking around (and nor could the
above-average salesman who gladly handled my swap).

HTH

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the info on the E365.  I ended up getting the 3200 and I'm very
happy with it.
Thanks again.
