It has call rates for almost every country. If its in there, then you can call it!

I live in Melbourne and i've been using this for around a week now. It does work.

The 1cellnet rates for Australia are (in USD) 5cents per 30 seconds from your mobile to a land line, or 11cents per 30 seconds from mobile to mobile. This is a flat rate.
Most providers charge between 29 - 49cents per 30 seconds (mobile to mobile).

 From what I read if you don't ring any of the "Big 5" Countries then it is next to useless.  It appears you can't call anywhere in Australia for the 7c per 30 seconds, if you could it MIGHT be worth considering.
