I've been trying to deceide between the Sony Ericsson T230 or T630.
KMart is having a 15% sale until wednesday. If I can get a prepayed T230 for
$140, I'll forget about the fancy T630.
Now, my question - Are kmart phones locked to a phone carrier? Anything
else I should know before buying from kmart?
Thanks!
Pete

Generally these days, Telstra and Optus are locked to the network, while
most Vodafone phones are not locked.

I'm pretty sure if the phone is purchased brand new without contract it
shouldn't be locked to any network. Some second-hand phones or prepaid phones
will be locked.

Stan was asking about K-Mart, which don't sell 2nd hand or phones which
aren't in a prepaid pack (here in QLD anyway).
