I notice on the Siemens web site that they have the upgrades available, just
download to your pc, then install via the data cable. That is how it should
be.
How are the Siemens phones? Menus a mess, or as simple as Nokia?

And they work exactly as advertised. Just run the exe and your phone is
updated.

On my S55 the menus are pretty good. If anything they probably make more
sense than my old Nokia 7110. Not sure how they compare to the newer models
though.

I don't know what it is about your messages, John (John
Phillips<flatulentdingo@deadspam.com>)... but I can't read them at all. All the
others are OK, but your's say they've expired. I get:

So, sorry if you've asked something about my 6310i.

Some can read them, some can't.
I have changed (just now) some settings that were munging the message id, so
if you can't read this, let me know (ha ha).
If you can, let me know also!

Um, I think we have crossed wires here. We have a Nokia 6310i, hence the
query about flash upgrading them via IR or data cable and PC software.

Yes I was digressing. Just wondering what anybody on the list with Siemens
thought about them.
