What's the story with Orgran phones working on Telstra CDMA? I see a
lot of CDMA phones maked as being ex Orange and in the fine print, the
seller says, may not be useable on the Telstra network.

I thought you could just reprogram them?

Telstra says 'maybe', still waiting for further word.

Care to elaborate?

Orange phones, on orange "plans" will roam onto the Telstra network outside
Orange coverage areas. However, Telstra refuse to connect ex-Orange handsets
onto their plans/network, and vice versa.

From Telstra "helping" you more, heard in the very near future, you
won't be able to convert Telstra prepaid CDMA to another number on a
Plan... So much for cheap replacement handsets...
