The Ocean View Tower is on air, no cell b'cast/id as yet, was turned on sometime last Monday 17th, Microwave dish was fitted cupla weeks ago.. when I got home from the orifice I had full scale 'reliable' signal, never happened b4, the fone now works all over the house, well it worked all over the house b4 but you couldnt use it....as Big Kev would say "I'm excited" can you tell??? no more chasing cells & signal strength... sorry I juss wet my pants :-)))) Donya Optus!!! Hmm... must take a drive along the D'Aguilar Highway to check this out for myself :-) Albinus. Will be interesting to see what the coverage through there is like, I feel it may be too far up the hill for the daggy highway, lets know what the coverage is like there. I will eventually check the Mt Mee rd around the back of the cliffs around Freds rd to see what coverage is like, high gain antenna direction... The Mt Samson tower is also now on, around the back of the North Pine Dam, between Winn RD & Hippathites Rds. tis on a hillside looks as high as this 'un, now there is excellent coverage all the way from Samford to Dayboro, no drop-outs 'cept the school type drop-outs.. :-)) BTW no cell Id on that one either yet, I came home from the city that way yesterday (Sunday) and saw the signal was full scale where there used to be no service... Us 2 headers up here are gettin cillyvised......
