I believe there is a plan called Optus B-Free.

Where can i find out some details about it ? It seems this plan just doesnt
get advertised.
But aparrently, you get the Yes time , and only pay for usage with no
monthly fees.

Anybody know more? Is it possible to transfer to this plan from RSLCom
mobile (ie. keep existing Optus mobile number)?

You sure you aint confusing that with a
plan from B, who is an optarse reseller ?

No evidence of a plan called that in the Optarse
SAs, tho its not that easy to search for, particularly
if you dont have the name quite right.

I vaguely recall that B did have a plan like that.

Not sure what it's called. But I have an active SIM here from B which is
just a pay as you go situation. Which includes yes time, and maybe even yes
weekend if that is still running.

I got it back in 2001 when my contract ran out and they wouldn't renew my
contract with a new phone unless I got a new number as well. So I had the
option of keeping the old sim active with no monthly payments.

Pretty cool I guess, as I don't think you can get a deal like that anywhere
these days.
