You can get 11¢ per 30 seconds (plus flag-fall) from Orange here and
now. There is a minimum spend of $11 per month.
Mr ZX - 24 Jun 2004 15:03 GMT
Thanks Charlie,
I was hoping to avoid the flagfall as most of my calls are brief.
It is a good rate though for the monthly spend.
My wife and I are on Orange 2 for 1 at $28 a month combined. We get
free Orange to Orange 5 minute calls and 24 cent (no flagfall) 10
minute calls to any landline in Australia. The only catch (besides no
GPRS) is mobile to other mobile networks. This is where the callback
system can save me some $$$.

How can this be considered spamming, he has not advertised the product
as he has not said where to purchase it or what it is called!

Or he's just asking if there is anything that's better value,
just like plenty of us have done with the low end sims etc.

Even you should be able to bullshit your way out of your
predicament better than that pathetic effort, dunnychild.

He didn't even mention a product or company, so what is he spamming?

With a comment like that, why don't you do us all a favour and fsck off

'fucktard'? .. seriously.. You're either some stupid teen with nothing
better to do, or a seriously f.cked up adult.
It is dissapointing to see that some dick named Michael has hijacked
my request for useful information and turned it into a slanging match.
If anyone is aware of any other systems using call back to get cheap
mobile rates please let me know. I don't want to go with the first I
find with out at least seeing what the competition has to offer.

Gotta url for your original ? The java initiation is interesting.
What up front charge is involved ? I meant to use the system,
not a pseudo flagfall ? Thats the big risk with those systems,
significant risk that they'll just take your cash and not call you
back with no real recourse thats feasible if they are scams.
Mr ZX - 25 Jun 2004 13:51 GMT
Hi Rod,
I signed up as an affiliate here is the link
http://www.1cellnet.com/zx.
The JAVA application is at http://www.1cphone.com and is supported on
the LG G5300i handset I got for $150 from my Vodafone dealer (includes
$30 prepaid sim). I haven't got it working yet as I just got my new
Vodafone postpaid sim today which allows Internet GPRS.
I have found no catches yet, the system seems to work well.

Mr ZX - 26 Jun 2004 01:23 GMT
Thanks Rod,
I hope I haven't been scammed, but time will tell. So far so good
though :)
I guess this is why so many stick with Telstra even though they aren't
the cheapest they are the devil you know.....

Oh f.ck - referrer. Looking at site .... yep, they want big cash up
front, and push for US$199. "consultant", "affiliate" ...
Another multi-level marketing scam.
I suppose you sell Amway too?
The honest post-paid (or $10 up front) schemes cost a lot more now.
If its too good to be true ...

Oh no!
My evil plan was foiled again by this caped crusader, damn!!
If it wasn;t for him I would of made off with all your hard earned
cash and lived a life of luxury :(
I gues I will have to stick with selling Amyway to my great

There are two regular poster in a competition to see who can be the most
obnoxious idiot, while occasionally posting somwthing useful to avoid
the kill files. See alt.internet.kooks for a psychological profile.
> If anyone is aware of any other systems using call back to get cheap
Google for "callback" systems.
They were more attractive before telstra etc massively increased the
charges for international incoming calls to mobiles.
I used one years ago, which involved calling a gateway, and hanging up.
It worked well.
Now, e.g. gphone.com charges about A$1/minute from one OZ mobile to
another. Half that to a landline.
These systems can be a good way to avoid international roaming
charges for outgoing calls. (not in US where incoming is expensive)
> mobile rates please let me know. I don't want to go with the first I

Yours sounds too cheap. I'd be careful.

Excellent.

Because they were running at a LOSS calling ineternational mobiles. Its not
just Telstra that increased their charges, ALL did, as ALL were being
charged higher prices.

Try not to worry about him, he hangs around like a bad smell. Figures, since
all he does is cleans the dunnies at Telstra.
