Yes. It has a 32 meg MMC card.

Got one today. Haven't tried it yet.

Er, dunno. The missus was doing it. It's her phone (and her laptop). I'm
forbidden to touch either.....

What I have found is that if there is not enough memory free in the phone,
you can not transfer over an mp3, it will go through the motions and then
quit without telling you why it has done so (using the audio manager tool in
the pc suite). I havent figured out yet how to tell the program to send the
data to the MMC yet, dunno if it can be done. Anybody??
I guess if you are wanting to send an mp3 through to be used as ring tone,
you could use an audio editor type program, trim it down to about 20 secs
(enough for a ring tone I guess) and send that much smaller file.
If you want to put on a heap of MP3's to listen to, then buying a usb
multimedia card interface would be one way of doing it, slip the card into
the slot, move files back and forth etc.

I Had this problem too until I rang Nokia support.
Before when I used audio manager to transfer mp3s to my 6230, I could
not see the MMC in the directory listing of the phone. The Support
bloke got me to rename the MMC and then swith the phone off for 20-30
secs.
If you have done everything right, when you switch the phone back on
and connect via IR you should now see the MMC's name. Click on it and
then select your songs to download and it should work.
I Have another problem though. It seems that when im playing the
songs on music player, they see to skip and have blank secions of the
sonds or annoying gaps in play. Im wondering if it is the
manufacturer of the MMC as I dont seem to have any probs with the
Nokia supplied 32MB MMC, only with the Amicroe 128MB MMC I purchased
seperatly. Mabey a timing issue writing to the card?
Cheers,
Mick.

I had a similar problem - the first part of mp3s was being cut off.
Nokia said that the bitrate needed to be at least 128kbps (I used
variable bitrate) - changing it fixed my problem, might me worth
checking with yours.
