Similar to the original 'yes' 79 Cap plan, but with some changes to
call rates, eligibility and spend.

'yes' 79 Cap Plus plan
- No minimum monthly spend ($25 on original plan)
- Voice and text between $79 and $500 is free
- 37c/30 seconds to fixed lines (30c on original plan)
- 18c/30 seconds to mobiles (30c on original plan)
- 25c flagfall

Available only to Optus Pre-Paid customers porting to postpaid.

Month-to-month connection, available for a MAXIMUM (wtf?) of 12
months.

Option to purchase a handset via 24 monthly repayments.

Does 'yes time' apply on the capped plan?
Paul Wright - 24 Oct 2004 23:38 GMT
No, you can recieve yes time calls, but you dont get the free outbound 20
min calls optus to optus, its the flat call rates..

Well that sucks.

what do you expect with a $500 call quota, 13 hours of airtime for $79.. of
course there not going to give you another 2500 mins of free network time..
:)

Well said.  That on top of no minimum spend... Optus would be asking
for trouble by issuing a $0 SIM with access to outbound 'yes' Time.

Tom N posted a similar offer by B Digital (on Optus's network), which
might be a bit closer to what [] is after - $0 minimum spend, $99 cap
for up to $300 voice calls, and 30c/10 minutes to Optus GSM from
8pm-midnight.

Alternatively B also has another $0 plan with the same 30c/10 min
offer, but with a $49 cap for up to $100 voice calls.

this one actually appears to have a 25c call rate and since
there are no minimums I guess you would go for the $99 cap -
costs nothing but has a cheaper rate

Maybe to gain a competitive edge? (wishful thinking)
