After having been a Nokia user for many years, I have recently
purchased the Motorola V620.

I am trying to transfer some midi files to the mobile phone via
the USB cable and the mobile PhoneTools CD provided with the
phone.

However, every time I click on the transfer to mobile button, my
computer freezes and I need to reboot the PC (without having the midi
files transferred across to the phone).

What am I doing wrong?  Can someone please help me with some tips
and hints on how to use the mobile PhoneTools software?

I am on Windows 98.

Thanks in advance....

Probably the reason, but who knows?

I too was a Nokia user but now have the Moto V620 and am quite successfully
transferring files to/from my phone to computer via USB cable and bluetooth.
I run windows XP.  I would think the Win98 is the root of your problem.....
