Hi All,

I understand there is no SMS agreement between Telstra and
Verizon (US) but does anybody have information on whether this
may change in the near future?

If not, can you recommend any online SMS services that provide
the ability to send text through the phone or WAP?

Thanks,
Benny

MobiSMS isn't too bad.  6 euro cents (about 10c) for most SMS, including to
Verizon.  Send from web interface or WAP.

I use https://www.c4sms.com/ and am happy with it.  What I like is the
Firefox tool bar especially made for C4 SMS, which makes sending
messages quick and easy.
