Hi All, Im curious.Does sms/text messaging actually work between Australia and Canada?.Ive had friends in USA in the past i was able to send/receive - albeit sometimes works sometimes doesnt.Pain in the a.s if you know what i mean?.If Australia - Canada works - are there particular carriers it will work with? thanks Nigel > Im curious. No reason why not, but if the carrier is AT&T (or is it called Rogers in Canada?), they may not have implemented sms thoroughly. Just an observation based on using sms between Oz & U$A on my travels - AT&T is woeful compared to the rest. Sending may be ok, but on AT&T in USA receiving overseas sms is a hit and run affair, and the carrier in Canada (if Rogers, the main carrier) is an AT&T subsidiary, and may, or may not, have the same problems. Thats as close an answer as i could get anywhere. Nij Optus has agreements to send and receive sms to most networks in Canada as well as the US.
