For example I have a Melbourne number connected to VoIP, so I can be anywhere in the world and plug my Analogue Telephone Adapter into a router and make and receive calls as if I were in Melbourne. Another poor mob in Melbourne (who isn't connected to the number you're talking about) looks like they've had some problems relating to that scheme.
