Hello.
I have a ZTE C220, bought in Australia. ZTE phones are all made in
China.
It physically has a GSM SIM socket, but boots up to a CDMA network
(Orange) and ignored the GSM SIM card I have placed in there.
How do I reprogram the phone so that it reads the GSM SIM card?
Where can I download the software?
Cheers,
Noodle.

I've just done an extensive search on Google and finally came up with
the following page:
http://tinyurl.com/8ksol
This indicates that it is only a CDMA phone, there is NO mention of GSM
what so ever.
I have seen several Nokia CDMA phones with a SIM socket in them, and
they do not support GSM. I think it maybe possible to read phone book
entries using the socket, but that would be all.

If my memory serves me correctly, that would be a RUIM slot which is /
will be the CDMA form of SIM card.
