NOKIA 6101 and Infrared?

How do you use it, I have activated it and got nothing even when another
phone is trying to send??

You do realise that you have to point the phones at each other dont you ?

IR is pretty sensitive to that.

I normally use with the PC instead of another handset
and when its setup properly XP beeps and claims it
can see another computer near it etc.

You will need Bluetooth to do that.

Gee, with a ver1.2 bluetooth will that reach? Can I use an extension dongle?

IR sensor is on the right-hand side of the handset, almost parallel
with the 'end' key.
